Fast Raw Viewer Serial 580: How to Support Almost All Digital Cameras and Devices with RAW Formats

Monitoring of bacterial growth is a fundamental technique in microbiology. The most widely used method for enumerating bacteria is plate-based counting, which requires serial dilutions of the bacterial stock culture and manual counting of colonies after plating. The procedure is very time consumi ...

Gift memberships let you or your channel members buy the opportunity for viewers to access the perks of a channel membership. You or your channel members can buy gift memberships during live streams or Premieres.

Once you or a channel member buys gift memberships, a countdown ticker will highlight the purchase in live chat for a limited amount of time. The amount of time depends on the purchase amount. If the live chat or live stream ends before the gift is announced, it will still be distributed to viewers.

Big battery with great life; I can get 20,000 shots per charge if I shoot lots of long, fast bursts with the electronic shutter as this camera is intended, as opposed to wasting power piddling in menus or playing back.

Your R3 must include a U. S. A. warranty card like the one shown above from Canon U.S.A., Inc. It should be on top inside your box as you open it. The serial number on the card must match the serial number on the bottom of your R3.

Shifty dealers may include copies of a card from a legitimate U. S. A. product in a gray-market box, hoping you won't check serial numbers and catch their fraud. A card with the wrong serial number means nothing other than that you have no warranty coverage.

Because the R3's finder display is so precise, it's obvious when the mind-control isn't exactly on the subject we want. Because of this most people will skip the eye-control option, since the all-area auto-select AF options are usually faster and/or more accurate.

With C1, C2 and C3 it's trivial to run in and out of my house to shoot whatever I need, fast, without having to fumble with half the settings even after I recall my Shooting Settings and Camera Settings banks, which only recall half the camera's settings on Nikon. I also can program one of these for tripod use, with the 2-second self timer, fixed ISO 100 and Av exposure mode and so forth.

As a DSLR, the 1DX Mark III is a completely different kind of camera. Its controls are much more direct and immediate, but R3 is much faster, running silently at 30 FPS while the 1DX Mark III sounds like it's about to explode trying to motor away at 16 FPS.

The EOS R3 is for full-time shooters who shoot sports, news and action all day, every day. It's a smaller, lighter, faster version of the 1DX Mark III. The R3 is for things that move, move fast, and everyone loves the mind-controlled autofocus and magic linear thumb controllers even for things that hold still.

Double-check the connections between your ESP32 board and the FTDI programmer. RX goes to TX and TX goes to RX. If these connections are swapped, the ESP32-CAM is not able to establish a serial communication with your computer.

camera streams fine on my android chrome browser, however in Microsoft edge its just an x but it will capture a still. one thing I notice is when the button start stream is depressed looking in serial monitor nothing happens. its like the start stream button has no functionality . could be a flash issue or some other html issue.

Hello, it has allowed me to load the code but without reaction. The serial monitor does not print when I load it, when I reset it I get the following message:20: 13: 08.908 -> ets Jun 8 2016 00:22:5720: 13: 08.908 ->20: 13: 08.908 -> rst: 0x1 (POWERON_RESET), boot: 0x3 (DOWNLOAD_BOOT (UART0 / UART1 / SDIO_REI_REO_V2))20: 13: 08.908 -> waiting for download

As a newbie, working with ESP32_CAM, I found I have almost all the issues mentioned above and in the guide. I never take a compilation failure as true unless I have: 1) powered off the project; 2) reset the wires on the breadboad; 3) checked the camera; 4) checked the wires on my TTL comms board. Then if I get the error three times in a row I assume something has changed in my code, maybe an accidental key press or even an intentional change that is incorrect. Then I check google and github for the details of the error, then I might ask for help. Sometimes it is just a lack of information in a fast changing world; sometimes it is my pure ignorance because I am not a programmer and I do not know the compiler language. I hope I am learning along the way!!

I cannot get an IP address in the serial monitor.I have :1) Checked my TX and RX connections to and from the FTDI to the ESP32-Cam2) Checked the baud rate as 115200 in the serial Monitor3) Moved my router within 2 feet of the ESP32-Cam4) Checked and rechecked my SSID and PasswordMy router shows that 2.4 and 5 GIG are activatedCan you help me solve this problem ?

I use the following sketch to test any ESP board that I got to make sure I am able to talk with the ESP serially: download and upload before I work with any sketch. This makes sure that the basic communication is working. Hope this helps!

Hi,Im using the FTD1232 with the ESP32 module, can upload the code without issues. I remove GND and do a reset but do not get any output in the serial monitor (set to 115200 Baud). Rx Tx cabling is correct. Do I have a bad board or are there any tricks/settings to get the serial monitor working?

Hi guysI have been trying to get my ESPCam working, I have followed your instructions and the boards flashers perfectly, when opening the serial window it shows me the website address to goto, I enter this into the browser ( I have tried chrome, firefox and Edge ) the controls come up and when I hit still it shows that a picture is taken in the serial window the same as when I hit stream it shows in the serial window requests but no pictures will show on the screen, just a black screen with a very small square. Please see screen shot, using windows 10, chrome, firefox, edge, esp32 A1 Thinker board, Arduino windows store 1.8.57.0(sorry cant seem to atach a screenshot )

When I press the reset button to get its IP on the serial monitor I get this error:rst:0x1 (POWERON_RESET),boot:0x13 (SPI_FAST_FLASH_BOOT)configsip: 0, SPIWP:0xeeclk_drv:0x00,q_drv:0x00,d_drv:0x00,cs0_drv:0x00,hd_drv:0x00,wp_drv:0x00mode:DIO, clock div:1load:0x3fff0030,len:1344load:0x40078000,len:13836load:0x40080400,len:3608entry 0x400805f0E (487) camera: Camera probe failed with error 0x105(ESP_ERR_NOT_FOUND)Camera init failed with error 0x105

I own my version of PL5 and downloaded the trial version of PL6. Using my Panasonic G9, I shot three sample raw photos at ISO 200, 1000 and 6400 (no scientific reason for choosing these ISOs). I converted each raw photo in PL5 and PL6 with all options turned off other than Deep Prime on PL5 and Deep Prime XD on PL6. I exported and saved the files as DNC and viewed them using Fastone Image viewer.

I am not 100% certain, but I think Prime XD and Pure Raw are pretyy much the same. I own PL5 and Pure Raw2. Pure Raw takes a minute or two to process a 40MB file on my computer, and that's a fast machine. So, I would expect it to take about the same amount in PL6 with Prime XD.

Did you really try with many (10+) local operations, including a few u-points and the "intelligent" brush? Without local edits its fast enough even on my lowly GTX 1070 laptop, the edits make all the difference. Btw: PL4 does not make any use of the GPU, just look at the "GPU usage" in the task manager when its "processing preview": Almost no GPU usage, all heavy processing happens on the CPU. Sorry but that's really shameful in 2022..

Make sure to leave noise reduction off until you are finished with the set. NR on is the biggest single slow down. Otherwise, make sure you have a powerful GPU or a Silicon Mac. GPU makes a huge difference. With a 16GB VRAM Radeon VII everything was instant. But you don't need that much fire power. Even mid-tier (RX 580) was plenty fast.

The tiny cameras, which weigh just 1.4g, fit inside the padding of a driver's helmet, offering viewers at home an eye-level perspective as F1 cars race through the corners of the world's most exciting race tracks. In 2023, all drivers will be required to wear the cameras.

Despite these limitations, the setup is so simple that I think the serial plotter tool will become a go-to for quick looks at sensor data, perhaps even replacing some processing based demos. The ability to connect four of these ADC modules to a single Arduino makes the platform look quite respectable as a classroom level data acquisition system, especially for environmental data that rarely requires high frequency sampling.

There are plenty of other serial data plotting programs, but using the free IDE version like this is an iterative exercise, forcing you to switch between the serial text monitor & the serial plotter a few times to tweak the delays and constants. If you are using an UNO in a classroom setting, this in itself is a useful activity. And given how cheap basic DAQ modules are these days, choosing to use an Arduino is always about the showing the process rather than just getting a final result. 2ff7e9595c
